Chocolate Fact of the Day: The film “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” was financed by Quaker Oats to promote its new Wonka Bar candy. That’s why it’s named that instead of the book’s title of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.”

Mr. Softee will be here tomorrow! Don't forget to send money in the morning with your child. The office cannot accept money dropped off after your child is at school.

Congratulations to Emerson Elementary's 23-24 Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Amber Graham!

It is 1st grade's turn to take care of the chickens this week. The students help feed and water the chickens and also collect the eggs. Our 3rd grade students are learning about the hatching process and have marked some eggs with an x. The 1st grade students know to be very careful and leave these special eggs in the coop. Our Emerson chickens are truly a team effort!
