Second graders in Mrs. Mathis' class learned about the life cycle of a pumpkin. They also had a special visitor to help carve pumpkins with them, Mr. Mathis. Finally, the class learned about how a pumpkin decomposes and are looking forward to seeing one of their pumpkins decompose in the school garden and watch the life cycle begin in the spring!




Thank you so much for all of the Little Debbie donations. Today's student Woot Woot cart was a success! Students could purchase a Little Debbie for 5 Eagle Dollars. Eagle Dollars are given when students are caught making positive choices.

Congratulations to all our Spelling Bee competitors, and congratulations to our winner, Mackenzie G. and runner-up, Layla A.! The county Spelling Bee will be in December. Good Luck!




ESOL students celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month last week. Students enjoyed a presentation about Aztec dances from one of our families, an activity with HoPe students from Cass High School, and delicious food provided by our ESOL families. Thank you, Mrs. Herrera for organizing this fun celebration!
