DAR GOOD CITITZENS AWARD
This award recognizes and rewards high school seniors who possess the qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in their homes, schools, and communities.
This year the BCCCA recognizes Miss Hannah Bohannon as our 2023 DAR Award Recipient.
PARKING PERMITS ARE IN!!! Students please see the front office to get your forms. Passes are $10 each and are required for all students who drive on campus, including Chatt. Tech. Please be reminded that students cannot transport any other students during the middle of the day. Doing so will result in loss of driving privileges.
Tickets will begin being issued the 18th of September.
CONGRATULATIONS to Mrs. Burkhalter for receiving the award of Teacher of the Year in 2023 for Bartow County College and Career Academy!

Today we kicked off our ICARE Attendance Challenge!!! We discussed with students the importance of being on time and reporting daily for school and your job. We also spoke about learning skills of the trade at your place of employment and how to keep your job from a employability standpoint.

Parents, these are the highlighted points we discussed with students today during Assembly concerning procedures and expectations. A few other tidbits are noted below:
1. We will be issuing parking passes at the end of August- passes are $10 for all student drivers on campus, both BCCCA and Chattahoochee Tech Students.

Sonic in Cartersville hosted a car wash fundraiser for Public Safety this past weekend. Thank you to everyone who came out and showed your support!
The passing of our ICARE Extraordinaire trophy from Mrs. Foy is awarded to Mrs. Burkhalter.
Alison Burkhalter has been an amazing addition to the BCCCA faculty this year. She truly exemplifies integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence in her work with students. She has thrown all of her energy into developing the Teaching as a Profession pathway. It has been amazing to watch her students grow as individuals and learn what it takes to be an effective educator. Mrs. Burkhalter has worked diligently to ensure that students are held to high standards and consistently provided support to all students who have needed extra help. She is an incredible educator and the BCCCA is thankful to have her on our team.
