New York Times best-selling author Dion Leonard and his cute dog Gobi are in Atlanta and stopping at WES next Thursday!!
ALL GRADE LEVELS will have the opportunity to listen to Dion's and Gobi's amazing true story and incredible journey of ‘Finding Gobi’ which has thrilled students and teachers across the USA and is soon to be a major Hollywood motion picture!
And yes, Gobi the dog will be here too!
Finding Gobi is the heartwarming true story of Gobi, a stray dog that joined Dion as he was running a grueling 155-mile ultramarathon race across the Gobi desert where they battled high altitudes, excessive heat, wind, and sandstorms throughout the week-long race. Their incredible bond, her subsequent disappearance after the race, and the global effort to reunite them both lead to an intriguing and mysterious rollercoaster ride: www.findinggobi.com
