We will again offer English classes for parents. Registration is now open and there are a limited number of spaces.
We are humbled with appreciation at Red Top Middle School by the generous donations of tools from Mr. Clint Pruitt and the Construction Ready of Georgia! These tools will be used in our Miner Home Improvement Focus class to teach students about basic tool use and skills they can use at home or in the workplace!

Criteria for BVA Admission
Complete the application prior to the deadline
Complete student questionnaire prior to deadline
Be enrolled in the Bartow County School System
Above average historical grades
Good attendance history
School Recommendation (form is sent from BVA to school)
Upon acceptance Student & Parent attend BVA Orientation (final requirement)
Open to upcoming 5th graders from Emerson, Cloverleaf and Allatoona Elementary Schools and current RTMS 6th and 7th graders.
RTMS Cheerleading Tryouts will be on Thursday, May 12th from 3:40 to 5:00 pm. Students must have an up-to-date physical form on file. Students must wear athletic shorts, t-shirt, and tennis shoes.
Track practice will start tomorrow after school.
You must have a physical on file to participate
Appropriate footwear is required (tennis shoes/track spikes)
Water bottles are mandatory
Must be picked up by 4:45
The Red Top Miner Lego Robotics team took home the 1st Place Breakthrough Award trophy at yesterdays BCSS Robotics Competition at Georgia Highlands College!
BCSS is excited to offer a FREE STEM Camp for students currently in grades 3 through 6. Test your skill with challenges, clues, and detours to race your way around the world in four days tackling STEM challenges with Spheros, RVR, LEGO Spike Prime Robots, Drones, green screen, and more! The attached forms were sent home with 6th and 8th graders today, and are due back to RTMS by Thursday, February 3rd.
STEM Donations needed!!
We are beginning STEM projects in all three grade levels and need donations of the following supplies. If you are able to help, you can send the supplies with your student or drop them off in the main office. Students can drop their supplies off in room 711. If they put their name on the donation, they will receive house points for their donation.
