Red Apple Run
April 16, 2022, is our second annual Red Apple Run 5K and 1.5 Mile Walk to benefit Bartow Education Foundation. Last year’s 5K was a success, and we raised around $20,000. The 5K and Walk will be held at Hamilton Crossing Park with the start/finish lines as well as the award ceremony held at the Cass Middle School Track. We will have a school competition again this year, and our school could win $500. Most importantly, the money raised for this 5K and Walk goes directly to teacher grants to reward innovation in the classroom. Registration is $25 for the 5K and $20 for the Walk. With your registration, you will receive a Red Apple Run 2022 t-shirt and goody bag. Scan the QR code to register.
If you do not plan to walk or run, you can still participate as a Ghost Runner and still receive the 2022 t-shirt and goodie bag. Make sure to enter HCES for the School Affiliation on the attached form. The elementary school with the most registered teachers, parents, and students will win $500 for their school!

As construction progresses on the Beavers Drive roundabout project, it will be necessary to close Beavers Drive at the intersection of SR 293 starting April 1st. Through traffic on SR 293 will still be allowed to continue through the work zone. It is anticipated that Beavers Drive will be re-opened at SR 293 in December 2022. Hamilton Crossing Park and the Senior Center can be accessed from Hamilton Crossing Road.
