Emerson Elementary School is all about reading right now! We had over 4,000 minutes logged in the last week! Our Read-a-thon finishes this Friday, so be sure to log those reading minutes at home too. The student with the most minutes read will receive $50 cash! The student that collects the most donations will receive $50 cash! Your contributions benefit our school library.

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City/Atlanta is having a Women in Stem open house/outreach event geared towards girls K-12 to encourage interest in and exploration of STEM fields (particularly meteorology and hydrology). Attendance is not limited to girls. All who are interested are welcome to attend. See additional information on the flyer below.
Tomorrow is a great opportunity to learn about resources available to families. The Family Resource Fair will begin at 10am. Check out the flyer for additional information.
We are thankful to the students at Cass High in Mr. Black’s construction class for partnering with us to create these wooden ladders for our main hallway. Teachers hang Essential Standards and learning targets on the ladders. Students will now add/move a star when they become proficient on a learning target.
