REACH Georgia

The REACH Georgia scholarship program was started in 2012 by Governor Nathan Deal to make post-secondary education more accessible to students. Guidance counselors are provided a list of criteria to use to identify possible candidates at the end of 7th grade. Once selected, candidates complete an application and interview with school and business leaders. After the final selection is made, students officially commit to the program in the fall of their 8th grade year at a Signing Day ceremony.
