Good Afternoon WMS Family:
Can you believe we are halfway through the school year? This has been a fast, yet productive first semester for our students and staff. We are so excited about the great things happening at our school. None of it would be possible without our wonderful students and families. Thank you for entrusting your children to us. We don't take that trust lightly and are working diligently every day to maximize the opportunities we have.
I hope you all have a restful, relaxing, and rejuvenating holiday break. From our family to yours, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! May this season be full of fun experiences and great memories.

Our girls basketball team was in action tonight. They played good but took a loss against Rome, 44-8. #TheWoodlandWay
Our 8th grade math team was recognized at our board meeting tonight for their phenomenal gains last year on Milestones. We received a banner last week from Richard Woods, state school superintendent, for this accomplishment. #TheWoodlandWay

Our girls basketball team was in action on Saturday against Adairsville Middle. They played a great game, but came up a little short, losing 20-17. Great job. Keep working. #TheWoodlandWay
Our leadership team cooked pancakes for our staff on Friday. Our cafeteria staff helped out with the bacon and sausage. It was delicious! #TheWoodlandWay
A huge thanks goes to the students, parents and community of WMS for providing coffee drinks for our whole staff last Monday. What a treat that was. We are so blessed to be in this community. #TheWoodlandWay
