Terri Johnson has been an integral part of parent involvement in our school over the past 17 years. She has served as a room mom, volunteer, and member of our PTO, with the past 6 years as the president of the organization. She has been a bridge of communication between our school and parents by providing hours of service including Fall Festival, fundraising, donations, Snow Cone Days, and much more. Thank you, Terri, for your dedication to White Elementary School. Your presence will be greatly missed.
Congratulations to Mrs. Berger for the Perfect Attendance award for the 2023 - 2024 school year!
Also, all staff who had perfect attendance each month went into an end of the year drawing. A BIG Congratulations to Mrs. Blasengame for taking home the espresso machine!
A BIG THANK YOU to Sutalle Baptist Church, New Beginning Baptist Church and Pleasant Olive Baptist Church for sponsoring the WES End of the Year Staff Cookout! Not only did they provide all of the food but brought along door prizes as well!
These three churches alternated speaking at our monthly FCA student meetings. A special thank you to Miss Cindi for being our huddle leader!
Our 2023 - 2024 White Elementary School yearbook is dedicated to Mrs. Maria Rittenhouse.
Mrs. Rittenhouse has been a part of the WES family for 22 years. The staff and students are convinced that she can do pretty much anything! Over the years, Mrs. Rittenhouse has worn many hats. Her determination, humor, and flexibility have helped her in her role as a paraprofessional in PE, an Exceptional Education paraprofessional in multiple grade levels, and as a dedicated worker in our Afterschool program for many years. She has a rock steady character and a tell it like it is personality, giving her the ability to reach her students. She meets students where they are and helps them to soar. Her strong work ethic, high expectations, and ability to set students up for success are what make her such an important part of our WES family. We are not sure how we will survive without her when she retires at the end of the school year, but we wish her all the best in her next adventure! We love you Mrs. Rittenhouse!
No staff meeting today. Enjoy your afternoon!
Hope to see you there!
