Second graders in Mrs. Mathis' class learned about the life cycle of a pumpkin. They also had a special visitor to help carve pumpkins with them, Mr. Mathis. Finally, the class learned about how a pumpkin decomposes and are looking forward to seeing one of their pumpkins decompose in the school garden and watch the life cycle begin in the spring!

Thank you so much for all of the Little Debbie donations. Today's student Woot Woot cart was a success! Students could purchase a Little Debbie for 5 Eagle Dollars. Eagle Dollars are given when students are caught making positive choices.

Congratulations to all our Spelling Bee competitors, and congratulations to our winner, Mackenzie G. and runner-up, Layla A.! The county Spelling Bee will be in December. Good Luck!

Due to a local water main break affecting the Emerson Elementary School campus, we are relocating students to Red Top Middle School for the remainder of the day. Students are currently being provided with a sack lunch, bottled water, and transportation to Red Top Middle School.
We will dismiss at Red Top Middle, unless the water is restored by 1 p.m. If the water is restored by that time, students will be transported back to Emerson Elementary for dismissal. We will communicate updates throughout the day.

Little Debbie's donations for our October PBIS student woot woot cart should be turned in by this Wednesday. Thank you for supporting this fun way to recognize our students for making good choices. Donations may be dropped off in the front office.
