After reading an informational book about the Titanic, Mrs. Evans' reading group participated in a simulation that brought history to life. Each student received a ticket and was assigned the name and background of an actual passenger aboard the Titanic. This engaging activity allowed students to make meaningful real-world connections, deepening their vocabulary and comprehension. The excitement was evident as they embraced this memorable and impactful learning experience.
