Starting the week after Thanksgiving, Woodland will move to a new format for Wildcat Period. The new format will help ensure that more students receive the intervention and extension supports they need.

- When second period ends, students will move to their 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th block teacher, depending on the day of the week.
- Teachers will now be able to plan for ALL their students arriving at the same time.
- Attendance will be taken in Wildcat Period, and students who do not arrive will be reported as absent and consequenced for skipping when necessary.
- BCCCA students will go to cafeteria and then to bus as usual (we continue to work with the BCCCA on how to ensure that our Academy kids can access our teacher's interventions supports, but we are unable to guaranteed it at this time)
- Students who are WBL during the assigned Wildcat class period will report to Ms. Kilgo (WBL coordinator) during Wildcat Period intervention time.
- Students who are WBL or Dual Enrollment during intervention time will leave campus to go to their WBL/DE assignment as usual and will NOT be marked absent during Wildcat Period.
- If a student NEEDS intervention in another class for more than one day during the week, the teacher will provide a pass for the child to return to further interventions on Friday when students go to their advisors.
- Club rotations and other meetings will continue to take place on Fridays.
