Coach Howard and Ms. Rakestraw are excited to announce this year's Shop with a Wildcat!
For those of you that don't know, SWAW is a one-day event where economically disadvantaged kids from our feeder elementary schools get to go holiday shopping with our students and enjoy games, food, and holiday cheer. This is Woodland's 4th year hosting and we're so excited about the ideas and plans we've got in store.
To sign up the event, please scan the QR code below. Students, if you want to volunteer as a mentor, please go HERE.
This year's event is on Saturday, December 14 from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm. This event is a massive undertaking, and we need your help to make it happen! There are two ways you can help us get this sleigh off the ground: by volunteering your time or by donating items.
If you want to volunteer your time, you can sign up to either help us set up, run the event, or clean up. Please fill out this form if you want to volunteer.
If you can't volunteer your time but still want to contribute, please look over this Amazon Wishlist for items you can purchase to donate. I encourage you to share this link on your social media accounts! You are also more than welcome to purchase these items (or similar ones) in-store and bring them in.
We’re going to continue the initiative we started last year with giving every Little Wildcat a stocking full of toiletry items and winter essentials. If you would like to donate some of these items, or if you know a business that would like to donate hygiene items, please use the Amazon list or reach out to Tammy Queen or Dana Hunt.
Thank you all for all you do to help our students each day. Here's to spreading holiday cheer and happiness to those in our community who will walk through our front doors as WHS students in a few short years!
