The district’s 2024-25 OOZ/OOD application process is now open. It will close at 3:00 p.m. on February 29, 2024. No additional applications will be taken after 3:00 p.m. on February 29th.
OOZ applicants are students that want to attend a different Bartow County school other than the one they are zoned to attend. The preferred method of submission for OOZ applications is online via the link provided below. Current OOZ transfer students do not need to re-apply unless they are moving from Elementary to Middle or Middle to High, but they do need to sign a new Student Transfer Acceptance Agreement. OOD applicants are students that live in the city limits of Cartersville or other surrounding counties but want to attend a Bartow County school. OOD applications should be submitted to the choice school for Principal’s review and signature. OOD applicants must re-apply yearly. Please click on the link below for an OOD application.
Notification of School Choice Outcome will be made no later than April 5th.
*Available space is based on enrollment and teacher allotments. Not every school listed will have space available at every grade level.
