What an incredible day at the First Lego League qualifier at Cloverleaf Elementary on Saturday! Our two WES WarriorBot teams put their skills to the test in robot design, innovation projects, robot games, and core values. 🎉🤖 A special congratulations to the Great Warrior Sharks for advancing to the Regional Competition in Chattanooga, TN on February 8! 🦈

Friday was 100 days of learning and fun! We embraced our inner centenarians by dressing up as 100-year-olds! 🧓👵

Next week we will be having Dollar Days to support Mrs. Elrod and her husband in Cartersville Dances with the Stars to raise money for Backpack Buddies and the Good Neighbor Homeless Shelter. Your child will bring home more information about this today and all money is due on Monday, 1/27.

100th Day of School! Friday, Jan. 24

What a fun-filled half-day at WES! The students and staff decked out in their holiday favorites and enjoyed a morning celebrating GOLD behavior with movies, snacks, crafts, and games. The staff enjoyed a catered lunch donated by Texas Roadhouse, Nothing Bundt cakes for dessert, donated by Kennesaw Transportation, and lots of door prizes donated by Hugh Evans at Robert Loegr Dealership. 🎉 Big news, Warriors! We just wrapped up our PBIS raffle for the first semester! Students showed their GOLD behavior by earning Warrior Golds in classrooms, lunchrooms, and beyond. 🎉 Congratulations to our winners, Maverick Stiles and Kendall Franklin, who won bicycles! 🚲

👀The Grinch himself was on the prowl, visiting classrooms and trying to stir up some holiday mischief! 🎄 But don't worry, he made sure everyone stayed on task. He even ran into his friend Cindy Lou Who!
