Here are a few more pictures of our guest readers from Woodland High School.

We would like to thank Ms. Hogsed, the media specialist at Woodland High School, for bringing The Wildcat Shelf, Woodland High School's book club, to read to our students today. The students loved having books read to them in celebration of "Read Across America Week."

Good Morning Bartow County School System Families,
Mark your calendars! Set those alarms! If you need to fill out an Out-of-District or Out-of-Zone application, you can do so starting Feb. 5! See details below.

Students at Euharlee enjoyed having football players from Woodland High School come and read to them today. Pictured are the players reading to first grade.

The media center's new mural is complete!! Mrs. Dorothy Reavis, a local artist, did a fantastic job on this work of art. Ethan Perkins and Breeanna Chapman, former Euharlee students and Woodland High School graduates, also assisted her on the work. The students at Euharlee have been watching the progress as Mrs. Reavis worked. They loved learning about what a muralist is as they watched the mural come to life. It was such an amazing experience for everyone! Thank you Mrs. Reavis for a job well done!!!!!

Our first graders got to take home their life-sized snowmen today!! Their parents were so happy for the surprise!

Thank you E.A.T. for supplying doughnuts and drinks to our staff on Friday. It was such a nice surprise!

Third, fourth, and fifth grade gifted students have been studying the brain. Last week, students studied the olfactory bulb. After learning about the olfactory bulb, students conducted a mystery scent investigation. Then a survey was conducted to determine the students' favorite scent and their least favorite scent. The results of the survey are in! The favorite scent was vanilla, and the least favorite scent was cinnamon. Students were asked if they would rather do another smell test or a taste test while blindfolded. 84% of the students would rather do a taste test while blindfolded!
