The cans were donated by Keep Bartow Beautiful. The recycling team collects all the recyclable materials two times each week. They make sure the recyclable items are taken to the proper place. The team also encourages everyone to do their small part in keeping Bartow County GREEN, just by recycling things right here at school.
Also, Cloverleaf staff and students are very excited about participating in the county wide recycling contest this year! The contest is managed by Keep Bartow Beautiful and Bartow County Solid Waste. The goal is to collect the recycling items at each school, making sure they end up at the recycling center and not the landfill. The collected recyclable items are weighed and recorded. The school with the most weighed items at the end of the year will win monetary prizes for their school!
At the school we recycle tin, aluminum cans, plastic, paper, magazines, newspaper and broken-down cardboard.
