Students will begin painting during their Art classes (special areas) next week. Mrs. West has requested if possible, that students bring an extra shirt with them to class. The art room is also in need of paper towels and q-tips if you’re able to donate. 🎨 🖌
The first grade GATEWAY students tackled their first Breakout Edu challenge. Students had to use critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, and perseverance to help “Gus the Grateful Turkey!”
The Cartersville Library has a beautiful tree adorned with ornaments and garland created by CCES students.
The CCES Art Classes and Art Club have been busy. It’s always a great day to be creative!

Mrs. Martel and Miss Morrow spent a few days in Denver, Colorado at the National Association of Gifted Children Conference. They presented about STEM Challenges for the Mensa Reading list and learned from lots of other great speakers.
