How about these Construction Colonels! On Tuesday, Nov. 16th Damien West, Ryo Ratcliff, Tyler Martin, and AJ Martin competed in the AGC Skills Challenge.
Damien West won first place in the Masonry category, while AJ Martin took home first place in Welding. Congratulations to all of these Colonels for representing themselves, their teacher, and their school well!

Hey Colonels! It's the most wonderful time of year! Colleges are already starting to send out their acceptances, and your Cass High family wants to celebrate YOU on our newly revamped College-Bound Colonels Wall! To get your name up on the wall, see Miss Jackson in the Media Center with your acceptance letter!
Congratulations to Chloe McMillan and Caroline Guthrie, the first two students to get onto the wall this year! Chloe was accepted to Berry College in Rome, Georgia, and Caroline was accepted to Georgia Southern in Statesboro, Georgia. Congrats Colonels!

Katelyn Marie Miller outshines them all ! Katelyn alone collected 480 cans for the Canned Food Drive to help Colonel family members. She even knocked on doors to help her Colonels ! Way to go, Katelyn Marie Miller! You are what Colonels are made of !

Cass & Adarisville join forces for the Skills USA Fall leadership conference! We are so proud of our talented Colonels as they hone their skills that will make them marketable when they get out in the workforce!

WE HAVE A WINNER: The Bartow County School System Teacher of the Year is Michael Kobito, Woodland High School teacher and band director!

Representatives from the Bartow County Public Library met with Cass High's Last Word Literary Guild today to discuss the services offered specifically for teens at our public library! They also introduced us to Sora, their reading app that gives any student in the county FREE access to all of the public library's e-books and audiobooks! They finished off their talk with a came of "Guess That Banned Book," and even gave away free books to a few of our students! We are so excited about this partnership between The Last Word Literary Guild and our community's public library! Thank you, Thomas and Jesse, for taking the time to hang out with us today!

Our Lockdown Drill is now complete! Thank you to the Bartow County Sheriff's Office for helping us conduct our state-mandated drill. Also, thank you to our students and staff for doing a fantastic job following guidelines and completeing the drill seamlessly.

Today students from Cass High attended the PROBE Fair at the Clarence Brown Center in Cartersville. Students were given the chance to speak with representatives from universities across the country. Over 70 students were in attendance! This event gave students the opportunity to learn more about schools outside of the greater Bartow area, as well as a chance to practice their networking and interviewing skills. Thank you students for representing Cass High well!
