Transition Services at Bartow County Schools are going to be hosting some fantastic and informative events in the month of March! These two events, including Voc Rehab and the Transition Fair, are meant to help our exceptional education students or any student who receive services through our school, plus their families, navigate their students' educational and career paths.
Transition Fair will take place on March 31st. This event is designed to educate parents and students with disabilities with options after high school. Vendors from various agencies will be available to discuss how services can be provided beyond public education. There will be representatives from: Georgia Highlands, Kennesaw State, Chattahoochee Tech, Georgia Northwestern, Parent to Parent, Vocational Rehabilitation, Guardianship, Highland Rivers, and many more. While this event is geared more toward upperclassmen, everyone is welcome! In order to attend this event, the student must have a signed permission slip and emergency contact form. For more information about this event and to access the permission slip and emergency contact form, see below.
Voc Rehab will also be hosting a student/parent Meeting for all high school exceptional education students preparing for life after graduation and employment! This event will be hosted at Cass High School on March 15th. For more information on this event, please check out the attached flyer.
