Rise Up

This year’s Pink Out will be held on Friday, October 18th on the AHS football field around 9am.  Be sure to join us as we spell the word "FIGHT"...in honor of EVERYONE who is fighting and has fought their battle with cancer!! We are planning to do a field formation, have members of the AMS chorus sing an inspirational song, and end with the survivor lap around the track.   Every year we sell Pink Out t-shirts to our school as well as all our feeder schools.  In 2024, we sold approximately 3,000 Pink Out t-shirts. Proceeds from this event are donated directly to families in our community fighting cancer. If you would like to support our event as a sponsor or purchase as t-shirt, please click on the links below.  Thank you!

More Details: For over 14 years Adairsville Middle School has been actively involved in raising money for local families affected by cancer. Each year our culminating event has been the creation of a human picture on our football field. With the help of AMS students, elementary school students, high school students, parents, and community members we have made pink ribbons and spelled out the words FAITH, HOPE, LOVE, CURE, BRAVE, STRONG, FAMILY, and Rise Up.  Each year we also honor cancer survivors with a survivor lap around the football field while students cheer them on. This “pink-out” day at AMS has grown into a community event and has received coverage from Fox 5, 11-Alive news, and WSB-TV, as well as local news media.
