Mrs. Terrell, Mrs. Carelock, Mrs. Baggett, and Mrs. Lusian recently took their students on a Community-Based Instruction (CBI) field trip to Home Depot, where the focus was centered on construction and hands-on learning. Students were able to explore different sections of the store, learning about tools, materials, and safety practices used in building projects. The Home Depot team provided demonstrations and guided students through interactive experiences, allowing them to see how everyday math, problem-solving, and teamwork connect to real-world construction tasks. This trip not only supported classroom learning but also gave students meaningful exposure to career pathways and practical life skills in a community setting.

Tiger Families,

AES would like to invite parents from our community into our school with your child ages 3-5 (not enrolled in school) to experience story time, snack and crafts each month. Each child will walk away with a FREE book each visit to add to his/her at-home library.

Why? We believe it is important to start learning early, and we would like to start fostering a school-home partnership before your child comes to AES.

The flyer is our 2025-2026 upcoming dates. There will a sign-up link shared on social media a couple of weeks before each date. We would love to see you there.
