“These students represent a group of highly skilled and experienced semifinalists,” said BCSS GHP Coordinator Paula Camp. “With several being juniors who advanced this far in last year’s program, I am confident they will excel at the highest level. This year, Fine Arts and Engineering nominations are taking center stage, and I’m eager to see our talented students shine on one of the state's largest platforms.”

The 2025 GHP semifinalists will now have the chance to interview or audition at Georgia Southern University on March 1 or March 15. Finalists and alternates will be announced on March 21.

Finalists will then participate in a four-week, summer residential program at Georgia Southern University, beginning June 15. The Governor’s Honors Program is fully funded by the Georgia General Assembly.
