White Elementary School Assistant Principal Stephanie Meadows will write the next chapter of her story at Clear Creek Elementary School.
The Bartow County Board of Education unanimously voted Monday night to name Meadows as the principal of CCES, following the retirement of Dr. Kelly Wade.
“I am beyond grateful and thrilled,” said Meadows. “I am excited for the opportunity to make a positive impact on students, teachers, and the school community.”
WES Warriors came to know Meadow’s humble, happy, and hardworking personality traits over the past four years. Before that, she taught in Rome City schools for 13 years. Seven years were spent in the classroom and six years were spent as a math academic coach.
“Clear Creek is a school that clearly cares about its students and puts their needs first,” said Meadows. “I am ready to join this team where I can contribute to empowering ALL to achieve high standards of success!”
Meadows is no stranger to success. During her tenure as a WES Warrior, she helped lead the school to a prestigious Professional Learning Communities Model School designation and District STEM Certification.
“I am looking forward to meeting the staff and students at CCES, starting with the school's Guiding Coalition,” said Meadows. “I'm ready to jump in, get to know everyone and start planning for the new school year! Throughout my career, I have fostered strong relationships with all members of the school community, emphasizing open communication, trust, and a shared commitment to student success. Although I will miss the school community of White, I am looking forward to creating new experiences at Clear Creek and supporting high levels of learning for ALL students.”
Meadows moves faster than her kids in a BMX race. So, hold on tight, CCES. You are going places. This next chapter will be unforgettable.
