The Etowah Foundation

What is Etowah Foundation?

The Etowah Foundation is a career and college guidance program working with the School Counselors, to assist high school students and non-traditional students, to transition them into the next phase of life. The foundation is a place where students have access to additional resources and are able to have intentional conversations about an action plan for their life post-graduation. This is a free service to all students. Even if your child is an underclassman, it is beneficial to begin the conversation to know what steps are needed as they complete their high school years.

Etowah Foundation can help students with:

  • Applying for financial aid through FASFA

  • College application/essays

  • Scholarship searches

  • Coordinating college prep workshops

  • Creating a resume

  • Job searching

  • Setting career goals

  • Making introductions to company leaders in collaboration with Bartow County Chamber

  • Communicating with military recruiters
